I have never enjoyed buying new cars in the past but Ron Scott and John Keyes made the purchase of my new 2016 Explorer a very pleasant experience. They understood what I was looking for and offered me a very attractive price that I could accept without any bargaining on my part. They delivered my Explorer in a spotless condition and Ron took time to explain all the varied gadgets before I drove off. I had reason to go back to have two accessories that needed to be dealer installed and Ron made sure the shop took care of these installations in a timely manner while I waited. I also had a problem with DMV issuing a new license plate when I had actually transferred my old plate to my new car. I went back to Mooresville Ford and again John and Ron resolved this issue through Sue in the office in less than 4 hours. DMV made the error and Mooresville Ford efficiently resolved this issue. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking for an enjoyable buying experience.
The service and parts people at Mooresville Ford are courteous and attentive. I took a car in for routine service on a Saturday and everything was done very promptly. I just recently traveled from upstate New York to Denver, NC for a family celebration. On the way there, my F350 Super Duty 6.7 diesel lost power on the hills of Virginia. I was able make it to the campgorund(towing a fifth wheel trailer) and called the nearest Ford Dealership. Lucky for me, it was Mooresville Ford. This is a Thursday before Memorial Day weekend and I really needed the use of my truck. Brad( in service) got me right in and had it diagnosed within an hour. Luck was again on my side as they had the part in stock. It was repaired and I was on my way within two hours of my arrival. The mechanic that worked on my truck even came out and explained what he did. This is a testament to the service in this dealership by taking care of an out of towner on time of need. Too often, the service departments in dealerships get bad press. This is one dealership I would HIGHLY RECCOMEND!!!!!
Recently I had an accident while traveling to my daughters from Pennsylvania to Charleston for Christmas. The next morning I took my vehicle to your dealership's collision center. I was a little unsure being in a different area and working with unfamiliar people. Scott assured me that he would do everything he could over the holiday season to get us back on the road. He did all he said and more even coming in when the collision center was normally closed.. The car was done quickly and the workmanship was excellent.
